Black Hair Blue Eyes Are

STO ASCOLTANDO:

Matt Ryan Adams & The Cardinals VOL.IV

It took me more than a few rough play well to delineate this volume IV, much less melodic and intuitive earlier, is full of punk rock with peaks at times of that metal in the grip of chronic labyrinthitis created by the Genius of Jacksonville together with the faithful squire Candiloro Jamie, one of the architects of the much-mistreated ORION.
"NO" is nice, reminds me a hard version of "These Girl" ever recorded by the Cardinals at the time and never officially published if distributed in a free demo CD with the purchase online at the official site of "Easy Tiger" .....
never dull, however, sudden changes of rhythm, melody, good idea, is not a b-side this!
"Numbers" takes us back to the old punk sound and always with those changes of melody and rhythm that now characterize the songs of acrobatic Ryan .....
"Grace" is nothing new, the last 5 years and listen to the version proposed in this official release is identical to the one I found five years ago in the official site of Ryan, Brithis melody, this Gracie makes us catch our breath for a moment After a disruptive start
..... Icebreaker
stands the technical skills of Catherine Popper, a low and steady always most present, the young former bassist of Cardinals demonstrates creativity and adaptability in a song that is very difficult to understand .... a true b-side!
"Sewers AT THE BOTTOM OF The Wishing Well "is certainly more complete than the previous one, sounds a lot more power with a tune, however much more pronounced, a song that you enter immediately in the brain ....
" typecast "even this is not new, made in version the band now live far away from the Fall of 2006 European Tour is in this studio version greater harmony and cohesion, a beautiful ballad with hints of Grateful Dead!
"Star Wars" is a gem of the album, the acrobatic love letter Ryan from his favorite saga, a song with old-style riffs and harmonies that take us back 30 years!
"MY FAVORITE SONG" is not a statement but the title of a song, go back Hence the electric guitar marked Neal Casal after listening to a song that plays mounts, salt, a rock show us why the Cardinals in this vol.IV new, never formally proposed by the versatile band!
"PS" is my favorite of this volume, here the various punk bands that propinano the usual monotonous ballads, see Green Day & company can go and hide and learn how the versatility of this artist and this band sometimes reaches levels amazing .....
sweet and pleasant ballad "DEATH AND RATS" was well within an album Easy Tiger instead of some other song of lesser caliber, ballad-class ladies and gentlemen!
"KILL THE LIGHTS" is the last flash of an amazing album that at first sight disappointing, very well, but after extensive listening
....... offers pleasant surprises to be discovered!

Matt
