HAZY MALAZE



Blues Rock Band made in California, led NEAL CASAL by our brother, has so far churned out three albums in my opinion a very high level! The Hazy, Neal Casal (guitar, vocals), Jeff Hill (bass & harmony vocals) and Dan Fadel (Drum), offer a never dull blues, rock and sometimes even inherent with some facets of reggae that are well suited to the genre!
It 's a blues rock melodic, sweet, sensual, some of them could pull over to the Black Keys or the Black Crowes, but I think we're talking about a completely different nature.

HAZY Malaz The 2003 debut album, before the exit of the most disappointing solo album by Neal Casal "Return in kind", and can fill the void left by the delusine Return kind in managing to maintain a constant level of quality for the entire album.
The songs are all catchy, nothing new of course, but knowing how to propose in such a careful and never dull is not easy, and should be given to this act of Hazy! To remember the title track "Satisfy The Jones" & "It's good thing"

LOVE BLACKOUT 2005 My favorite one that I think fails to label the better the sound of the Californian band! ! The sound is more cohesive onset and the songs are all very high level! The album was released in conjunction with the hiring of a full Neal Casal Band of the Cardinals, and technical improvement of melody and feel. The album manages to be less than the previous monotonous in its entirety and in a variety of sound spaces that give more versatility to the band! Remember "Everything" & "Soul Gets Lost"

CONNECTIONS 2009 According to the big boss (Neal Casal), his best album ever for sure ...... confirms the excellent trail left by the previous two albums while maintaining the style, the catchiness of the songs and harmony, perhaps too they are intact, maybe you expected something new, experiment more, although I still think that the former Blackout Love it has offered new features! This Connections is perhaps a return to the roots, very similar to the debut album, logical maturity ..... you feel, both technically sound ..... that guitar solos are not present on the Connection 2 previous albums, and songs like "On the tarmac" in need of total use! "Get Free" deceives the tittle track, the album is not so aggressive, they dance among the usual blues ballads laden bass riff that now Jeff Hill has become the father of the band instrument!
to remember "Get Free" & "Can not just give it away"

Ok, you want to hear something truly different and original in these uggiusi
zero years of rock music?? Sonic Youth is still a guarantee that!
Ratther Ripped, pen'ultimo album of indie band the New York crowd sounds
modern rock noise of a more groomed, forget the sounds of rough
amazing debut album of the band. I have heard sonic
with the passing of the years to maintain their sound while managing to
treat them more dynamic and sounds sweet and catchy against
sensitivity of most human ears!
"Reena" the title track is a sort of punk rock mix with the tune of the ballads of the usual
Sonic which makes it a great song!
Ditto for "Incinerate" which continues to ride the wave of the previous song.
A masterpiece in my opinion "Do you believe in rapture" one of the most amazing song of the album, sad, dark, deep, with a rhythmic base, as usual, impeccable!
Another song that deserves mention is "Turquise boy" another gem from this very good album of sonic melodies, very comfortable and unique texts singular-style "Youth"
only flaw, but perhaps it will remain one of my sins, the fact of not being
still managed to put up as it should be Kim Gordon's voice, never liked it, never understood, even if at this point is and will remain a trademark of the band! Highly recommended
Album finally, the boys have grown very well and I would say!
