You could never imagine that Ferrari was planning an electric car? Well ... its totally not, but a hybrid does not hurt mai.Infatti through their experience in F1 KERS system presented here at the Geneva Motor Show the 599 GTB Hy-Kers. The petrol engine is the same as the 599 GTB, but combined with a 100 hp electric placed in the back (attached to the dual-clutch gearbox).
The electric motor is mainly used during overtaking, or when moving at low speeds such as the gasoline might even come off. For low balance the batteries are flat and placed under the car. Obviously, the energy is recovered during braking and over to the electric motor feeds power steering, air conditioning, ABS, etc. .. With all that Ferrari wants to show that hybrid does not mean loss of benefits to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, but ...
